In what year did you start CrossFit?
2016

Why did you start CrossFit?
I was looking for something different. I made decisions all day for work, so it is nice knowing the programming for my workouts was already done and thought through. One less thing to stress about.

How many days per week do you CrossFit and what is your normal class time?
I do CrossFit 5-6 days per week at either the 5 A,M. or 5 P.M. class, there is no inbetween.

What is your favorite movement?
I'm beginning to really like the Snatch. But I like the mix up of movements - except the Split Jerks. That movement can go away.

What movement do you want to conquer?
I want to conquer Ring Muscle Ups or Handstand Walks.

What kind of music do you like to listen to when you work out?
I like to listen to Shania Twain when I work out.

What kind of changes have you noticed since joining Straight Flush?
I think the biggest change is mental. I approach workouts a lot more thoughtfully now than I did in the beginning. I can see a work out and visualize it in my head before the “3-2-1” and have the mental ability to continue to reevaluate the workout during it and adapt a strategy on how it’s going.

What do you do for a living?
I'm in management for a large commercial construction firm here.

What do you like to do when you’re not working out at Straight Flush?
Live a 50% healthy, 50% fun lifestyle. Balance it the best that I can, lol.

What do you love most about the Straight Flush community?
Humbling all the rest of the members. ;) But to be honest, it’s pushing the rest of the community to perform at the top of their abilities. Seeing the others grow as they push to catch my score. It's helping and giving tips to them to master a movement in order to get closer to catching me. It's seeing the growth in everyone around me. And looking forward to the day I can pull a Froning/Frasier move and step aside to the next generation of SFCF. I'm old and tired. Lol
