Why did you start CrossFit?
My coworker (and future coach) Laura introduced me to it to help me with my anxiety after Route91. Once I started it I fell in love with it and the community.
How many days per week do you CrossFit and what is your normal class time?
I do CrossFit 5 days a week!
What is your favorite movement?
I like Deadlifts and Butterfly Pull-Ups
What movement do you want to conquer?
I want to conquer the Power Snatch. I have been working hard to get better at that movement.
What kind of music do you like to listen to when you work out?
I like to listen to Alternative while working out.
What kind of changes have you noticed since joining Straight Flush?
My details in the movements. The coaches really help with form. By working with the coaches, the changes I notice is that my form has improved!
What do you do for a living?
I am an administrative assistant at South Point for Convention Sales.
What do you like to do when you’re not working out at Straight Flush?
I also do another strength program and I love my garage gym, but otherwise going to watch concerts and live sports events are my favorite things to do!
What do you love most about the Straight Flush community?
How welcoming they are! We were newbies when my gym closed in December and they made me and my friends feel welcome!
